It is another special week of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying series involving various National teams across the globe.
As the journey to Qatar reaches fever pitch, clubs Worldwide have been compelled to release some of their star players for this coveted journey to the most spectacular global competition.
Zambian Super League giants, ZESCO United have so far seen nine of its star players trek to their various countries of origin to prepare for this final leg of back-to-back fixtures.
Kelvin Kampamba, Simon Silwimba, Solomon Sakala, Gregory Sanjase, Spencer Sautu, Dickson Chapa, have all made the short journey from Ndola to Lusaka to join the Chipolopolo squad that will host Mauritania on Saturday and then travel to Tunisia to complete their Group B qualifiers in a match scheduled for Wednesday next week.
Zimbabwean and ZESCO United midfield general, Thabani Kamusoko has also shifted base from Zambia to Zimbabwe to join the Brave Warriors side that will be away to South Africa on Thursday.
The Brave Warriors will then host Ethiopia on Sunday to conclude their round of fixtures for Group G.
Kenyan international and ZESCO United shot stopper, Ian Otieno has also joined the Harambee Stars squad that face Uganda on Thursday and host Rwanda on Monday in the final leg of Group.
South Sudanese defender Peter Maker Manyang has also joined his countrymen as they prepare for a series of friendlies during the international break.
