GUNNING FOR PLACES IN NATIONAL COLOURS

This week several nations will renew their rivalry in the coveted back-to-back 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifiers scheduled for this week and next week.

ZESCO United Head coach Numba Mumamba will be keeping a close eye on a number of the clubs international players who will be in action for their respective nations.

2012 Africa Cup of Nations Champions, Zambia will be away to Equatorial Guinea in a must win encounter slated for October 7 2021 with the return leg scheduled for October 10, 2021.

Kelvin Kampamba, Simone Silwimba, Gregory Sanjase, Solomon Sakala and Dickson Chapa are some of the ZESCO United players who will be salivating to be in the Chipolopolo Boys starting XI.

Zimbabwean international and ZESCO United midfielders, Tafadzwa Rusike and Thabani Kamusoko will both be in action for their country when the Brave Warriors face Ghana in the first leg of the encounter to be played in Ghana on October 9, 2021 before hosting the Black Stars on October 12.

Kenyan International and ZESCO United goalkeeper, Ian Otieno will be gunning for a place between the sticks when the Harambee Stars travel to Mali ahead of Thursdays first leg match before hosting Les Aigles on October 10, 2021.
