Zimbabwean international and ZESCO United midfielder, Thabani Kamusoko will be in action for their country when the Brave Warriors face Ghana in the first leg of the encounter to be played in Ghana on October 9, 2021 before hosting the Black Stars on October 12 in Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Kenyan International and ZESCO United goalkeeper, Ian Otieno will be gunning for a place between the sticks when the Harambee Stars travel to Mali ahead of Thursdays first leg match before hosting Les Aigles on October 10, 2021 in Kenya.
“We want to see that the players that are out on National duty have to be active when they are called to the national team. This will be better on our side if they are playing games at the national team, it is a plus to us. But if they aren’t playing it means they won’t be at their best when they come back.
I think we saw this when we played Royal Leopards. Those that were inactive during the international games failed to perform when they came back. Our prayers are that when these players go to the national team get enough game time because that is good for the club,” Mumamba said.
