KAMPAMBA, MUSAKANYA IN AFCON QUALIFIER SQUAD

ZESCO United attacking midfielders, Kelvin Kampamba and Bruce Musakanya have been called to the Zambia National team which will face Botswana in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match to be played on Thursday, 12 November.

This is according to a 26-member provisional list released yesterday by Zambia National team head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic.

Kampamba and Musakanya have both impressed the Serbian born tutor in the four friendlies that the duo have thus far participated in.

Sredojevic will be gunning for a crucial home victory against Bostwana before the copper bullets face the Zebras four days later in Francistown.

Kampamba will be expected to replicate the performances he has thus far shown in the four friendlies in which the ZESCO United midfielder has scored two goals.

Like Kampamba, Musakanya will be salivating for a first start in what promises to be an entertaining and important encounter for both countries.

Both Musakanya and Kampamba are expected to join the squad today after featuring in ZESCO United’s 0-1 away victory against Lumwana Radiants.
