ZESCO UNITED FACE WARRIORS AS FANS TROOP BACK IN STADIA

ZESCO United will tomorrow face Kabwe Warriors in the FAZ/MTN Super League week four fixture scheduled for Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Ndola.

This is expected to be a thrilling encounter for both teams spiced up by the return of fans.

Both ZESCO United and Kabwe Warriors supporters will be expected to provide the euphoria that has been missing since FAZ decided to bar them from attending league matches owing to the outbreak of covid-19pandemic.

ZESCO United coach, Numba Mumamba will be expecting his team to build on their 0-1 away victory against Lumwana Radiants.

Mumamba will also be hopeful that his striking force will put on their lethal shooting boots when the former league champions meet the Kabwe based side.

ZESCO United have thus far played 3 games and scored two goals, delivered by the club’s defenders, Adrian Chama and Clement Mwape.

The eight-times league champions will be bolstered by the return of Kelvin Kampamba, Bruce Musakanya, Ian Otieno, David Owino, and John Markwata, from international duties.

Tafadzwa Rusike will be another exceptional addition to ZESCO United after his outing with the Zimbabwean National team where he played an instrumental role when the Warriors lost 1-3 away to Algeria and drew 2-all at home against the African Champions.

Mumamba will be anticipating the six players to be in fine form and provide the experience and cutting edge over their opponents.

The Gaffer has kept his side busy during the international break with friendlies against Neelkhant and Zambezi Portland.

ZESCO United currently sits on 8th position on the log table with 4points. Current league leaders Buildcon have 8points having played a game more than the former champions.

Mumamba’s side will be desperate to beat Kabwe Warriors before travelling to Lusaka to face a tricky Zanaco side in a Wednesday midweek encounter.

Meanwhile Kabwe Warriors will be coming to Ndola with high hopes of causing an upset that will see them record their second victory of the campaign.

Warriors have thus far played three games, managing only a single victory and recording two loses in the process.

Tomorrow, ZESCO United take on Kabwe Warriors in a week four fixture at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
