Zanaco Football Club will tomorrow host ZESCO United in a week five FAZ/MTN Super league fixture scheduled for Sunset stadium, Lusaka.
ZESCO United head coach, Numba Mumamba will be making a return to a place that had been his habitat for over 21-years, both as a player and coach.
Early this year, Mumamba separated with Zanaco ending a long-standing relationship with a club that he had helped transform into a title winning side.
Tomorrow, Mumamba will be on a mission to undo what made him earn a cult hero status at Sunset by beating his former employers.
ZESCO United are on an impressive winning run with recent victories against Lumwana Radiants and Kabwe Warriors respectively.
Mumamba will not be carried away with the club’s recent winning form but will be expecting his side to remain focused and steadfast as they face Zanaco.
The ZESCO United gaffer will be putting his cards on in form club attacking midfielder, Kelvin Kampamba to lead the charge and perhaps swing the tide in favour of the former league champions.
Jesse Were and John Makwata are expected to lead the frontline for the Ndola based league giants while Samuel Sikaonga, John Ching’andu and Kelvin Kampamba will be expected to marshal the midfield.
Simone Silwimba, Clement Mwape, Mwila Phiri and Adrian Chama will be charged with the responsibility of thwarting Zanaco’s attacking threat.
Meanwhile Zanaco will be hoping to use home ground advantage to record maximum points when they come up against the eight times league champions.
The Chris Kaunda led side will be hoping to inflict damage on the visitors winning run with a possible repeat of last season’s 3-0 home victory.
Kaunda’s side have thus far played four games recorded two draws, one lose and one win. The bankers currently sit on 9th position on the league table with five points.
