ZESCO United midfielder Enock Sabumukama has left the team having been at the club for 3-years.
Sabumukama’s contract is coming to an end on December 31st, 2020
Signed from Burundi’s Le Messenger FC in 2017, Sabumukama became a significant part of ZESCO United Football Club and a fan favourite.
The baby-faced assassin became a fan favourite for his great awareness and intuitive reading of the game which was complemented to perfection by his fantastic quick feet. He also had a knack for unlocking powerful long range shots which were often an eyesore for many goalkeepers.
Sabumukama will also be remembered for his fantastic defense splitting passes which were devastating for opposing defenders.
In his farewell message, ZESCO United Chief Executive Officer, Richard Mulenga said: “On behalf of the ZESCO United Club Executive, I wish to take this opportunity to thank Enock Sabumukama for his remarkable contribution to the growth and success of this club.
The ZESCO United football family wishes you the best of luck in your future endeavours. Thank you once again.”

this player is one of the best at zesco and it could have been good to give him like one year contract and to let him play in many games during this season coz when is in game the game changes dur to his speed on ball
And we are still holding on to bena Thabani 🤦♂️ ? Fili eko tuleya
But this is a serious mistake move by my team zega
Thanks Enock
I will miss sabumukama.i wish you all the very best and support in your new journey.
