ZESCO United head coach Numba Mumamba has declared his charges ready for tomorrows ‘SUPER’ Sunday FAZ/MTN Super League week thirteen encounter against Nkana Football Club.
The Ndola based league giants sit on 4th position with 2points behind league leaders Zanaco Football Club.
Coach Numba Mumamba expects his players to be firing from all cylinders when the former league champions clash against the thirteen times league champions.
“We definitely expect a tough game against Nkana especially that they are coming from recording a crucial home victory against Red Arrows. They will be motivated when they come up against us. However, we have a team that has been preparing for such a challenge. The boys look sharp and positive in training. They are all geared to face Nkana tomorrow.”
ZESCO United will be missing four its key players when the club meet the Wusakile Boys.
“Kelvin, Adrian, clement and Bruce are currently with the national team. We would have loved to have them in this game. However, we have enough depth in the squad to get maximum points against Nkana. I have three central defenders who are solid at the back and equal to the task. The entire squad is ready for this encounter and fans should expect a positive result.”
Meanwhile the ZESCO United coach has declared everyone fit for tomorrow’s game against Nkana.
“The good thing is that most of our players who are were injured are back and ready to play. Jesse who had a muscle problem has fully recovered and ready to play. Kamusoko is also in fantastic shape so as Rusike. Luwawa Kasoma is the only one who has a knock. It will be a good game and our fans should expect a good game”
And ZESCO United goalkeeper, Ian Otieno is positive the team will carry the day tomorrow.
“It is a big game which often brings the best out of players. This is a game where we will really need to work hard so that we can get maximum points.
Every player here knows what he is expected of them especially that they are playing for a very big club. We will give our best to get maximum points.”
Nkana Football Club will tomorrow host ZESCO United in the FAZ/MTN Super League week thirteen fixture scheduled for Nkana stadium, Kitwe.
