ZESCO United coach Numba Mumamba will be expecting a positive response from his side when the former league champions meet Buildon Football Club in the FAZ/MTN week 17 league encounter scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa stadium on Saturday.
Mumamba agonizingly watched his side succumb to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of relegation threatened Young Green Eagles during a week 15 fixture played last Saturday at Khosa stadium, Kafue.
In his post-match comments, the ZESCO United gaffer expressed worry at the lack of consistency from his side.
“Our biggest worry is the lack of consistency from our team. We need to consistently win games if we are to win the league title. However, it is important that we start recording positive results consistently. What is crucial now is to continue encouraging our players.”
Mumamba expressed disappointment at the team’s failure to claim a victory against Young Green Eagles.
“We are very disappointed that we have failed to claim three maximum points. We gave our opponents too much space. We also faced a bit of lapses at the back which led to us conceding a goal.”
Mumamba will be expecting nothing less than a victory when the Ndola based league giants face an inform Buildcon side that humbled Nkana Football club yesterday by 3-1.
