ZESCO UNITED IN TRICKY TIE AGAINST WARRIORS

ZESCO United will tomorrow face Kabwe Warriors in their FAZ/MTN Super League week 21 away fixture without attacking midfielder, Kelvin Kampamba.

Kampamba was a second half substitute in ZESCO United’s demolition of Lumwana Radiants, on Thursday.

The former Nkana midfielder joins Clement Mwape, Bruce Musakanya and Mwila Phiri on the list of players currently nursing injuries.

ZESCO United coach Numba Mumamba will not be much perturbed by the absence of the four players especially following the teams remarkable resurgence in the last game four games.

Mumamba however, will be looking for a more spirited performance against stubborn Kabwe Warriors who recently humbled Nkana Football Club 0-2 at Nkana stadium.

The ZESCO United gaffer will be counting on experienced players like Adrian Chama, Simon Silwimba, Thabani Kamusoko, Jesse Were, John Ching’andu, Donashano Malama, Winston Kalengo to steer the side to a very crucial victory at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu stadium.

Mumamba will equally be hoping for the young players to come to the party when the Ndola based league giants meet the Kabwe based side.

Kabwe Warriors on the other hand will be hoping to continue rising on the FAZ/MTN league table by recording a home victory against the former the league champions.

Warriors currently sit on 5th position on the league table with equal number of points (31) with 4th placed Buildcon who have a better goal difference.

ZESCO United on the other hand will be hoping to put some space between them and their closest rivals, Zanaco Football Club.

The stage is set for another mouthwatering encounter between Kabwe Warriors and league leaders, ZESCO United.
