ZESCO UNITED BEAT KABWE WARRIORS

ZESCO United have maintained their winning run after beating Kabwe Warriors 1-2 in the FAZ/MTN week 21 fixture held at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu stadium in Kabwe this afternoon.

The Ndola based league giants came into this afternoon encounter having beaten Lumwana Radiants, Power Dynamos, Forest Rangers and Buildcon.

Warriors becomes the latest victim to suffer at the hands of coach Numba Mumamba’s in form squad.

Goals from Enock Sakala junior, Adrian Chama was all ZESCO United needed to maintain their top slot on the FAZ/MTN league table.

Despite getting a crucial equalizer from a Sydney Phiri well taken goal, Kabwe Warriors could not find the second goal owing to an excellent performance from ZESCO United goalkeeper, Ian Otieno who kept the hosts at bay.

Today’s victory sees ZESCO United accumulate 40points from 20 games while second placed Zanaco have 36 points from 20 games played thus far.
