ZESCO United will tomorrow take on Zanaco Football Club in a mouthwatering FAZ/MTN Super league week 22 fixture to be staged at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Ndola.
The Ndola based league giants will be aiming to collect maximum points as they attempt to build on their impressive five games winning run in the league.
Coach Numba Mumamba will unfortunately be without club attacking midfielder Bruce Musakanya.
“Bruce Musakanya has made a lot of progress however, we are currently working on his match fitness before he could return to league action.
He is looking much better and we are hopeful that he will be ready for selection next week,” Mumamba said.
Newly signed Striker Chitiya Mususu and 20-years-old club midfielder, Chanda Mukuka have also been confirmed unavailable for Sunday’s game.
Mususu pulled his muscle in training on Tuesday. He is expected back in training next week. Mukuka is out of Sunday’s game with an illness. The doctors advised we give him three days of rest, Mumamba added.
Meanwhile Mumamba has expressed happiness with the return of all the players that were out on international duties.
It is a full house for us which means we will have a lot of players to select from. The boys are back from their international assignments in good shape. It is a good thing for us as we continue to shapeup for Sundays important game,” he concluded.
