LEAGUE CHAMPIONS AIM TO SINK YOUNG EAGLES

ZESCO United will tomorrow face Young Green Eagles in the FAZ/MTN week 33 fixture scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Ndola.

The 2020/2021 Zambian Super league champions elect were held to a goalless draw by Green Eagles in a tie that saw the hosts waste numerous scoring opportunities.

ZESCO United coach Numba Mumamba will be expecting his players to be more clinical in front of goal.

Jesse Were, Winstone Kalengo and Kelvin Kampamba will be hoping to lead the charge in front as the champions aim to finish stronger with only two games to spare before being officially crowned league champions.

However, for the front three, Mumamba may be tempted to try out other players who have not had enough game time during this year’s league calendar.

In the middle of the park, the ZESCO United gaffer maybe tempted to start with Logic Chinga’andu, Samuel Sikaonga, and Tafadzwa Rusike.

At the back, Adrian Chama will arguably retain his position supported by Solomon Sakala, John Chishimba and Samson Mkandawire.

Toaster Nsabata will take command of the goalmouth and ensure that the ever-enterprising Young Green Eagles don’t retain to Kafue smiling.

Meanwhile, the visitors will be aiming to snatch a point or a victory to avoid being drawn into the relegation battles.

ZESCO United will tomorrow host Young Green Eagles before facing Buildcon of Sunday next week in a game that will mark the end of the FAZ/MTN 2020/21 league season.
