Zambian Super League Champions, ZESCO United will face Absa cup winners Lusaka Dynamos when the two sides clash in the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield final scheduled for 21st August 2021 at a venue to be confirmed.

ZESCO United will be gunning for revenge when they face a Lusaka Dynamos side that frustrated their hopes of winning a 7th Absa cup title last season.
The Ndola based league giants will be aiming to start the new football season on a high following their impressive league victory last season.
ZESCO United have already kickstarted their preparations for the 2021/22 football season with 10-day preseason preparations in Chipata, Eastern Province which ended yesterday.
Club head coach Numba Mumamba will be anxious to test his men especially the new acquisitions.
Napsa Stars defensive midfielder Dickson Chapa and former Kitwe United winger Edward Lungu will be aiming to start life at their new home on high by gunning for first team places.
ZESCO United striker, Chitiya Mususu will also be hoping to cement a permanent place in the squad after injuries crippled his takeoff at the club.
The 9 times Zambian league champions will also be hoping to use the Community Shield as part of preparations for their league title defense and CAF champions league campaign.
Traditionally, the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield precedes the start of the Zambian Super League.
