ZESCO United Football Club Team Ya Ziko
ZESCO United Football Club today launched the clubs inhouse football TV show magazine program intended to keep the teams strategic audience well informed about the day-to-day operations of the club.
“Team Ya Ziko Show is a brain child of ZESCO United football club. This program has been strategically developed in order to keep you our stakeholders especially fans well informed and to enhance the club’s and sponsor’s brand image,” Club Chief Executive Officer, Richard Kabwe Mulenga said.
Mulenga said the show will be an online football series program that will be dedicated to profiling current, former ZESCO United players, fans and other developmental activities taking place at the club.
“Our aim is to keep you informed by bring to you content that covers the legends of this team, current star players, match highlights, press conferences and many more developmental initiatives. This series will be aired once a month and shared on all our official communication platforms (Twitter, facebook and website).”
The ZESCO United football club top chief has urged both the public and private media to utilize Team Ya Ziko content and help grow the club’s brand.
“We understand that content is hard to find and expensive to generate. ZESCO United through this show intends to ease that burden that our media faces. Our club enjoys the health relationship that currently exist between the institution and the local and international media. As such, it is our hope that this show enhances this great partnership,” Mulenga added.
Meanwhile Mulenga has appealed to the corporate world to partner with the club in order to enhance its growth.
“Our doors are always open to potential sponsors because we understand the opportunities that comes with that. We have launched the show with the hope that sponsors could also see this as a potential venture worth investing their monies and in turn contribute to the growth of Zambian football.
