PREVIEW: ZESCO UNITED AIM FOR ABSA QUALIFICATION

Zambian Super League defending champions, ZESCO United tomorrow faces Prison Leopards in a rescheduled week 11 fixture scheduled for the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu stadium, Kabwe.

ZESCO United will come into tomorrows fixture with high hopes of securing the 2022 Absa cup qualification and to reduce the gap at the top of the league table to two points.

The champions need at least a point to push their noses in front of the chasing pack for Absa places with four already secured by Green Buffaloes, Green Eagles, Red Arrows and Nkana.

Victory for ZESCO United will not only insulate the champions 2022 Absa cup ambitions but it will also catapult the team’s hopes of winning a 10th league title.

With the game set for 13:00hrs, ZESCO United head coach Numba Mumamba will be aiming to finish the halfway mark of the season on a high.
