PREVIEW: ZESCO UNITED FACE BLADES

With only eight games to go before the 2021/22 MTN Super League comes to an end, ZESCO United look pumped up to mount a serious title challenge.

The league defending champions trail Red Arrows and Green Eagles with 5 and 1 point respectively.

ZESCO United will be hoping to sustain their recent winning run which has seen the 2020/21 league champions beat Nkana 2-1 and Green Buffaloes 3-0 in the last two games.

Tomorrow Coach Numba Mumamba’s charges will be aiming to make 3 victories in a row by beating Konkola Blades in a week 26 fixture scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Ndola.

Mumamba will be tempted to go for the same starting XI that left Green Buffaloes dazed.

Ian Otieno is expected to take up his usual responsibility between the sticks, deputized by Gregory Sanjase.

Peter Maker Manyang, Clement Mwape, Shemmy Mayembe and Fackson Kapumbu ensured that the ZESCO United wall remained intact.

Mumamba will be expecting the same from the former Nkana midfielder when the league defending champions face Konkola Blades.

John Chingandu, Collins Sikombe, Spencer Sautu will be expected to bring creativity in the middle of the park and ensure that the striking force is constantly supplied with quality passes.

Kelvin Kampamba is expected provide support to Vincent Oburu with the latter pumped up to extend his goal tally.
