ZESCO United attacking midfielder, Chanda Mukuka has been summoned to the National Team that is expected to play Iraq on Friday in an international friendly game.
22-year-old Mukuka is the seventh ZESCO United player who will join the National Team that set up camp in Lusaka yesterday ahead of the Iraq game.
Chipolopolo Head Coach, Aijosa Asanović has also summoned Simon Silwimba, Shemmy Mayembe, Kelvin Kampamba, Donashano Malama, Solomon Sakala, Spencer Sautu.
According to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), Zambia is expected to leave for Iraq on Tuesday before proceeding to France where they play Guinea Conakry on March 29.
Asanovic will have the full squad with foreign based players for the FIFA window assignments that will be used as a dress rehearsal for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that commence in June.
After the Iraq match the bulk of the local players will return home to pave way for the foreign based players.
FAZ has lined up two friendly matches during the FIFA window with the Guinea Conakry fixture confirmed while one more opponent has yet to be confirmed.
