ZESCO United will today face Power Dynamos in what is arguably the most important fixture for the Zambian Super League defending champions.
Veteran Zimbabwean midfielder, Thabani Kamusoko believes today’s fixture may determine ZESCO United’s title ambitions.
“This for me is the biggest fixture of this season. It is a game that will need us to give everything so that we can collect maximum points.
There are four games remaining for us. This means that there is no room for error for ZESCO United.”
Kamusoko expects a tough game against Power Dynamos who beat ZESCO United in the first round of the season.
“We have a team that is capable enough to win this game. But we also expect Power Dynamos to play their usual game and try to make life tough for us. I think we just need to stay focused and stick to the script.”
ZESCO United will go into today’s fixture against Power Dynamos occupying second position with 55 points whilst league leaders Red Arrows have stretched the gap at the top from 5 to 8 points following yesterdays 0-1 victory against Kafue Celtics.
A win for ZESCO United will see the gap reduced back to 5points before facing Lusaka Dynamos on Wednesday.
