LEKU TO LEAD ATTACK AGAINST AZAM

Ugandan striker, Alfred Leku will lead the frontline for ZESCO United when the Zambians clash tonight against Azam in an international friendly match to be staged at Chamazi Sports Complex.

Mumamba Numba has gone for speed with explosive winger, Songa Chipyoka and Luwawa Kasoma expected to whip in accurate crosses for the towering Uganda striker.

ZESCO United captain, John Chingandu will be expected to take hold of the midfield supported by young Francis Banda.

Donashano ‘Ichamilando’ Malama has been deployed just behind Banda and Chingandu to provide cover for the duo and the team.

Veteran defender, Adrian Chama will anchor the defense supported by Samson Mkandawire, John Chishimba, and Clement Mwape.

Kenyan international shot stopper, Ian Otieno will start in goal for the nine-times Zambian league champions.

At the back, the visitors will look to Solomon Sakala, Rodrick Kembo, Jack Ngulube, with the trio expecting to have a slice of the action.

With Leku starting as a lone striker, Enock Sakala will be yearning to be called upon whenever need arises.

ZESCO United led by delegation leader Moses Chilambe touched down at the Julius Nyerere international airport on Saturday evening ahead of tonight’s international friendly match against the Tanzanian giants scheduled for 19:00 hours Zambian time and 20:00 local time at Chamazi Sports Complex, Dar es Salaam.
