VINCENT OBURU: SUPER ‘SUNDAY’ GAME CHANGERS

Kenyan International and ZESCO United prolific striker Vincent Oburu has had a frustrating start to life after making a move from the Kenyan to the Zambian Premier League last season.

Oburu hit the ground running scoring a goal against Nkana in his first biggest test of the Zambian game. The Kenyan would however go on to suffer a nasty leg injury which saw him out of the game for the rest of the 2021/2022 league season.

He made a return to action and played 45 minutes of ZESCO United’s international friendly against TP Mazembe.

Last week, Mumamba Numba decided to rest Oburu from any rigorous training after he complained of pain in his leg following the Mazembe game.

The good news for TeamYaziko fans is that Oburu is back on his feet and still going through thorough observations from both the team medics and technical bench.

Numba has been sweating to get his talisman back in the ZESCO United starting eleven after seeing his side grapple in front of goal.

Oburu offers the ZESCO United gaffer speed, power, dribbling skills, explosive movements and goals which can overturn his sides misfortunes in front of goal.

The 25-year-old striker can be one of the biggest game changers provided he is declared fit ahead of Sundays mouthwatering fixture against Power Dynamos scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
