Zambia’s envoy in the CAF Confederations Cup ZESCO United have shifted base from Ndola to Lusaka ahead of tomorrow’s trip to South Africa.
ZESCO United face Royal AM of South Africa in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup qualifying series with the first leg scheduled for Sunday at Durban’s Moses Mabhida stadium.
The 20-member squad arrived in Lusaka today at 12:00 before checking in at the Golden Peacock Hotel.
This will be ZESCO United’s first continental test after being exempted from playing the first round of the 2022/23 CAF interclub qualifiers.
Royal AM on the other hand will be hoping for a positive outcome after dispatching Mbabane Highlanders from the competition following a first leg away barren draw and a second leg 2-0 home victory.
ZESCO United will tomorrow depart for South Africa at 13:25 aboard South African Airways and expected to arrive at the Johannesburg International Airport 15:25.
The Ndola based Zambian Super League giants will then connect to Durban at 16:55 and arrive at the King Shaka international Airport at 18:05.
