MAN OF THE MATCH: CLASSY KEZIRONI EXPECTS UNITED TO BEAT GBFC

ZESCO United attacking midfielder, Kizito Kezironi expects his side to bounce back from last Saturdays 1-0 defeat to Zanaco.

The Ndola based league outfit face Green Buffaloes in the MTN Super League midweek fixture scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Ndola.

ZESCO United dominated the entire 90’ minutes of Saturdays match despite going down to Zanaco’s Tshite Mweshi’s 54 seconds goal.

The visitors were supreme in most aspects of the game with Kezironi causing much of the damage in the middle of the park with his creative movements and precision passes.

“It was very tough for us especially that we were chasing the game after they scored an early goal. Chasing a match is hard and the playing surface didn’t help matters because of the rains. It is very hard to take this result because we dominated the entire match. We are missing some of our key players due to injuries. However, this shouldn’t be the excuse for today’s defeat,” Kezironi said.

Kezironi who was voted matchdays Man of the Match expects ZESCO United to collect maximum points when they faceoff against Green Buffaloes on Wednesday.

“I am not very happy because we have lost the game. I was going to be delighted to win this prize had we also collected the three points. We have a big game against Green Buffaloes which I believe is a must win for us.”

ZESCO United will this Wednesday face Green Buffaloes in the MTN Super League week thirteen fixture scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
