Zambia National Team head coach Avram Grant has announced his final 27-member squad ahead of next Thursday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against the Crocodiles of Lesotho scheduled for Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
Out of the six ZESCO United players that were recently part of the provisional squad assembled by the Isreali coach, Kelvin Kapumbu, Kelvin Kampamba and Lazarus Kambole have secured their places in Grant’s final team.
Meanwhile United will be without Eswatini international defender, Lindo Mkhonta when the nine times league champions face Kabwe Warriors on Sunday.
Mkhonta has joined the King’s Shield ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Cape Verde scheduled for March 24, 2023.
And Kenyan international shot stopper Ian Otieno is expected to join the Harambee Stars ahead of that country’s international friendly game against Iran to be staged on March 28 2023 in Tehran.
