CHABALA JOINS UNITED AS SAUTU RETURNS TO EAGLES

ZESCO United is delighted to announce the signing of Zambian international defender Mathews Chabala on a three-year deal.

Chabala 21 joins the nine-times league champions from Nchanga Rangers after spending over four years at the Chingola based league side.

ZESCO United Head Coach George Lwandamina will be delighted to add another exciting defender to his squad which started the 2023/24 Zambian Super League on a high after beating Napsa Stars 0-1 in Lusaka on Saturday last week.

And ZESCO United has secured the services of Damiano Academy striker Lewis Kasono.

Meanwhile, the Ndola based league giants have announced the departure of Green Eagles sensational attacking midfielder Spencer Sautu.

Sautu who joined ZESCO United in 2021 on a two-year loan deal rejoins the Choma based league side.

Others who have left the club are club goalkeeper, Gregory Sanjase who has moved to Kansanshi Dynamos on a one-year-loan deal while Edward Lungu moves to Mufulira Wanderers on a one-year loan deal.
