ZESCO United Football Club Media Officer, Desmond Katongo has been appointed Media Officer for the upcoming Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Mauritania this month.
Katongo will be among a horde of football Officials selected from various countries by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to manage the coveted youth tournament that kicks-off on Sunday.
The tournament will see twelve teams compete for the prestigious CAF youth title that Zambia successfully won in 2017.
However, the tournament will be without the young Copper Bullets with Mozambique, Namibia representing the COSAFA region.
