IT FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK: MUSAKANYA

ZESCO United attacking midfielder, Bruce Musakanya is delighted to be back in action after suffering a leg injury that kept him out of the game for almost two months.

Musakanya sustained his injury at the 2021 CHAN tournament that was held in Cameroon.

The exciting attacking midfielder was speaking today at the Absa Cup pre-match press conference held by the Football Association of Zambia at Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe.

“I am very excited to be back and looking forward to featuring in tomorrows game. I have been out of the game for some time now due to injury. I can’t wait to play and contribute positively to the team,” Musakanya said.

Meanwhile Musakanya says ZESCO United will not underrate Konkola Blades in tomorrow’s semifinals.

“We are not going to underrate them. I think everyone has seen how Blades have performed in the Eden University National Division One and the Absa Cup competition. They are a strong side as such we will need to work very hard to ensure that we emerge winners tomorrow.”

Victory against Konkola Blades will see ZESCO United book a place in the finals of the 2021 Absa competition where they will meet the winners between Zanaco and Lusaka Dynamos.

ZESCO United will tomorrow face Konkola Blades in the Absa cup semi-finals to be played at the Arthur Davies stadium, Kitwe.
