ZESCO United Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Angolan striker, Pedro Miguel from Eden University National Division One side, Trident Football Club.
Miguel has penned a 2-year contract agreement with the Zambian Super League defending champions subject to completing medicals.
The 25-year-old Angolan striker has been prolific in the Eden University National Division One scoring 14 goals thus far.
With the departure of Kenyan striker Jesse Jackson Were, Miguel will be expected to add firepower to ZESCO United’s frontline.
“We have observed Miguel for a while, and we are impressed with what we have seen. He is a good addition to our squad especially that Jesse is no longer with us. We are positive he will be a great addition to our team,” said club Technical Chairman, Peter Mutale.
Miguel becomes ZESCO United first signing following the departure of Zimbabwean midfielder and Kenyan striker, Tafadzwa Rusike and Jesse Were respectively.
