UNITED TOP JOB RECEIVES OVERWHELMING FEEDBACK

Only three-days remain before ZESCO United freeze applications for the position of club head coach.

Last week ZESCO United advertised the position of club head coach after the institution parted ways with former gaffer, Mumamba Numba.

Meanwhile ZESCO United Chief Executive Officer, Charles Kalala says the club has received overwhelming responses from both local and international coaches.

“I can confirm that we have been inundated by the number of applications we have thus far received from both local and foreign coaches for the position of head coach. We somehow did expect such feedback especially that ZESCO United has in recent years become a household name not only in Zambia but also in other African countries. We have also built a reputation as one of the top teams in Africa,” Kalala said.

Kalala has further disclosed that ZESCO United will set up a special committee which will be expected to interview the shortlisted candidates.

“A special taskforce will be set up primarily for the purpose of interviewing and selecting the best candidate for the top job. We want to be as thorough as possible so that we get the best man for the job.”
