The race for the league title is over with Power Dynamos as the designated 2022/23 Zambian Super League champions ending a 13-years drought.
It has been a unique campaign in which the winners have hardly been troubled for the coveted trophy by either their historical rivals or by the traditional giants of the Zambian game.
Dynamos were confirmed champions last weekend after humbling Forest Rangers 0-2 on matchday 32.
ZESCO United arguably the movers and shakers of the Zambian game in the last two decades have had to shift gaze from winning a tenth title towards a possible second place finish.

At week 32, MUZA FC have 50 points with one unfinished game to be decided by the FAZ disciplinary committee while second placed United are 49 points apiece with Napsa Stars, Green Buffaloes, and Green Eagles.
United however, will first need to overcome Kitwe giants, Nkana when the two teams meet tomorrow at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Ndola.
