ZESCO United Football Club Team Ya Ziko
I’d like to first of all welcome you all to the ZESCO united Football Club bulletin. I’m grateful for the support we have continued receiving from the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), the fans and our partners Atlasmara Bank. As club sponsors, we are extremely pleased with the recently agreed and signed Jersey sponsorship with Atlasmara Bank for the 2018/2019 MTN/FAZ league. You have been our excellent partners and I can assure you that we will reward you with success.
I am conscious of the honor and privilege to be part of the number one team in Zambia. The legacy of ZESCO United is well known- It’s all about success. I must state that I have with me an illustrations team of committee members who are dedicated to serve the club and ensuring that it’s in good and safe hands.
While at the club, we focus on having a team that will win us success, I remain positive that the sponsorship package that ZESCO Limited has put on the table will help the team get to the point where it will be self-sustainable in the near future, be able to construct its own stadium at the Monkey-mountain site in Ndola. Further, I implore the club to always practice good corporate governance principles in its operations. As the club sponsors, we remain committed to supporting the club because we believe that is a source of entertainment for our communities. Am proud to report that the club has been able to employ fifty (50) youths who are part of the team and its administration structure. Our sponsorship is also motivated by the fact that football brings citizens closer, and that it also promotes a healthier way of life, above all, football unifies our ‘perceived’ differences as a people.
Lastly, my word and assurances to the fans, the FA and other partners, is that we shall discharge our duties within the contours of traditions that defines the club- success. We shall make all endeavors to maintain services at a level that befits our current position in the MTN/FAZ League- Position number one. If, however, there any shortcomings or improvements- We are just a call away.
