FAZ POSTPONE PRISON, ZESCO UNITED GAME

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has postponed the MTN Super League rescheduled fixture between ZESCO United and Prison Leopards from Wednesday to Friday this week.

With cases of COVID-19 being recorded from some teams, the association has tightened its grip in ensuring that teams conduct mandatory tests before matches are played.

“The current COVID-19 situation is volatile. As such clearing outstanding matches remains priority. Therefore, the following games will be played in a double header to help clear the backlog.

“Friday 24th December 2021, 1300hrs, week 11 Prison Leopards vs ZESCO United at Godfrey Chitalu stadium, Kabwe while week 14 fixture between Kabwe Warriors vs Zanaco will also take place at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu stadium in Kabwe,” disclosed League Manager, Zambia Premier League, Brian Mulenga.

Mulenga further added that both fixtures will be televised on pay television station, SuperSport.
